Yannick Robert
Born in 1972, Yannick is an illustrator who, as a child, always dreamt of being a Comics artist. It was eventually too hard a task for him and as he grews older and wiser, he curiously enough started drawing CEO’s shaking hands and politicians chatting near a crane. Too much for him, really…our Young friend suddenly experiences an awakening and discovers his talent as an illustrator for children. He now is very busy and very much in demand but he has never forgotten his passion for Comics. Yannick has created the character of Charlie (Hello, I am Charlie from London - Hello Kids Series - ABC MELODY). He now lives in Toulouse in South-West France. Mylène Rigaudie
Mylène was born in the gently-rolling hills of the Cantal region in France in 1983.
As a young girl, she was busy breeding all sorts of small creatures including tritons, crickets, cockchafers and other insects. She will inherit from these tender years a curiosity and a taste for détail that are everywhere in her illustrations. Mylène has given life to Lily (Hello, I am Lily from New York City - Hello Kids Series - ABC MELODY). She now lives in Angoulême, France. Visit Mylène’s website at:

Mark Sofilas
An Australian freelance illustrator since 1981, Mark has worked in the advertising, publishing and printing industries in Perth, Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. His clients include Coca-Cola, Nestlé, Time Magazine, Penguin Books, Toyota and Qantas. A specialist in Sports ilustration, Mark’s work has been exhibited worldwide. ‘Two Decades of Challenge’, a limited edition book featuring some of his work about the America’s Cup forms part of the permanent collection of the White House Library.
Mark has also worked with many prominent Australian & International sporting personalities to create fine art portraits & limited edition prints. Mark has illustrated an award winning children’s book, ‘The Burnt Stick’ by Anthony Hill and has created the character of Max (Hello, I am Max from Sydney - Hello Kids Series - ABC MELODY).
Mark is now based in Leeds, U.K.

Cécile Chemel
Born in 1987 in Paris, Cécile graduated in French Literature then Graphic Design at famous École Estienne. Proficient in both illustration and Graphic Design, Cécile is now busy working in all creative aspects of publishing. She has also designed storyboards for short films “J’te promets” produced by ActionClap), designed ABC MELODY’s Teachers Guides for schools as well as new collections of children’s books working with top French illustrators. Cécile’s passions include Foreign Languages (she speaks Russian), the Arts, exhibitions, concerts and the Paris Cinémathèque. She lives in the 15th arrondissement in Paris. |

Stéphane Husar
Born in 1963 in Versailles, France, Stéphane graduated in English studies then left for the States, England and Australia where he worked as a French teacher, bookseller, radio announcer, singer in a jazz band, actor with the Melbourne French Theatre, founder of MusicFest (Fête de ma Musique in Australia). Stéphane created ABC MELODY Productions in Sydney in 1999 and came back home to Paris in 2006 to launch ABC MELODY Éditions in the Marais district.
Stéphane’s passion for travel, music and people took him to New Zealand, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Bali, Cuba, Guatemala, Belize, Mexico, Bali, Morocco, Russia and China (Paris-Hong Kong by train and bus). It was not long after such enriching trips that the ‘Sing & Learn’ concept was born : a collection of Books and CDs of songs to introduce children to languages and music. Stéphane’s mission in his own words : giving back to young generations what he was given. Stéphane today lives in Paris. |
